house style- the house style is apparent here as the font used for the main article is the same throughout each Kerrang issue and only varies in color and placement, however the placement is also similar to the house style as it is always the same height.
layout- the layout is typical of kerrang a double close-up on the left hand side with a pull quote on the right hand side- "heeeeeere's AXEWOUND" the style of the quote connotes danger and relates to the blatant sub genre of rock.the article is in the bottom right hand side of the page.
the color scheme-the colour scheme relates to the genre of the article as(axewound are a metal band) the red and black connote this a sense of blood and dark (metal),
